PFI has been in business since 1966. Additionally, we have purchased 10 acres of land and currently on the drawing board is a 45,000 square foot facility.

EXPERIENCED CNC LATHE OPERATOR

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include operating and adjusting machines to complete a variety of close tolerance component parts.  This includes ensuring accuracy and quality of parts through visual inspection and physical measurements; working in accordance with Company safety rules and practices; participating in continuous improvement of processes; and performing other related duties as assigned.

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES

- High school diploma or equivalency with 3+ years machining experience;

- Ability to read and interpret prints, routings, and work instructions

- Thorough knowledge of hand tools and other hand held and/or mechanical equipment

- Thorough knowledge of micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement instruments as needed;

-  Employees must have their own tools. Tool Loan with payroll deductions is available;

Ability to work harmoniously in communicating information and working with others;

Show reliability on the job by meeting commitments and job performance standards;

- Take initiative by rectifying situations by taking corrective action;

 

ENTRY LEVEL CNC LATHE OPERATOR

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include operating CNC machines to complete a variety of close tolerance component parts.  This includes ensuring accuracy and quality of parts through visual inspection and physical measurements; working in accordance with Company safety rules and practices; participating in continuous improvement of processes; and performing other related duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalency with 6 months machining experience;

- Working knowledge of hand tools and other hand held and/or mechanical equipment

- Working knowledge of micrometers and calipers;

- Employees must have their own tools. Tool Loan with  payroll deduction is available;

- Ability to work harmoniously in communicating information and working with others;

- Show reliability on the job by meeting commitments and job performance standards;

- Take initiative by rectifying situations by taking corrective action;

 

CNC Programmer/Estimator

Duties will include Estimating, Machinery Research and hands on new program startups.  Strong Tool Trouble Shooting skills and a competitive drive is a must.  Need a min. of 10 yrs.  Multi-spindle Automatic Setup Technician

Set up people must be proficient with lean setups and a track record of continuous improvement.   You will be operating in a positive team environment and will be a key player in the growth of the business unit.   Work with a shop where the owners will listen to good ideas and will empower you to implement them quickly.  Submit resume to hr@pfiprecision.com

Sales Engineer

  

The mission of PFI Precision Machining is to provide cost-effective solutions for close tolerance component parts and mechanical assemblies in an ISO 9001 Certified environment.  We serve loyal customers in the Medical, Aerospace, Energy and Transportation markets.

 

We are currently seeking experienced Sales Engineer Professionals to develop new business opportunities in these targeted markets.​

 

Education

A Bachelors degree in a related discipline is preferred.  Exceptional equivalent experience will be considered.

 

Experience

At least three years of technical sales success and experiential knowledge of the precision machining industry is required.  Experience in responding to RFQs and developing professional quotations in an ISO 9001Certified workplace is a plus.

 

Requirements/​Responsibilities

Responsibilities include selling PFI manufacturing capabilities, developing new accounts, solving product manufacturing and/or process problems for current and prospective customers, and introducing new capabilities to expand PFI presence in targeted markets in the United States.​

 

Candidate must have excellent listening, relational, sales, technical, communication and organizational skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and the ability to achieve results independently with minimal supervision.​

 

Travel Requirements

Extensive travel to key prospects and customers in the United States is required.​  A company car and communication tools will be provided.
