In line with our mission to offer the most cost-effective solutions for close tolerance parts, at PFI Precision Machining we provide custom multi-axis screw machining services. Our advanced line of equipment features 9 precision screw machines including 5 and 6 spindle CAM machinery and a 6 spindle 17 axis CNC machining center. Typical machined parts include solenoid components, fittings, valve seats, clinch fasteners, and inserts for molded parts among others.
Our multi-axis machining services allow for the manufacturing of complex parts with superior surface finishes, in sizes ranging from 0.500” to 4” (12.7 mm to 101.6mm) in length, and outer diameters from 0.125” to 1” (3.175 mm to 25.4 mm), all to tolerances of ± 0.0015”.
Custom components are possible from a variety of material options including stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, carbon steel and copper. Our fabrication methods incorporate a range of multi-axis machining processes, including boring, cross drilling, drilling, knurling, reaming, turning, tapping, threading, thread rolling, and milling. We are able to provide a thorough manufacturing experience with the availability of additional value added services including heat treating, passivating, anodizing, plating, sand blasting, assembly, welding, tumbling, and grinding. Our specialty production shop caters to prototype fabrication, and production volumes start at a minimum of 2,000 units.
